Why do I need to register?
Bids are placed via SMS so we need your mobile number for you to take part. We will only use your mobile numbers to contact you during Awesome Auction week.
Can I register part way through Awesome Auction week?
Yes of course, simply CLICK HERE to register your mobile number and you can place a bid anytime throughout our charity week.
What is a reverse auction?
It’s a mix of skill and luck as you choose what you think could be the lowest unique bid per prize, in pence. You could choose £0.01 but will this be unique? What are the chances of others placing the same number bid? An example of an auction with 7 bids is below:
At the end of each day, all bids are verified and payments checked and the lowest unique bid per prize is the winner.
What does the ‘lowest unique bid’ mean?
The person that bids a value that is both
For example, if you bid £0.03 and 3 other people have bid that number, it’s not unique. Similarly, if you bid £0.03 and no-one else has bid, and no-one has bid any lower with £0.01 or £0.02, you win the prize!
How do I place a bid?
You will need to have registered your mobile initially as all bids will be made via SMS. To register CLICK HERE.
Each day we will announce the daily prize that you can bid for, the auction will start at 10am and all you need to do is text BID, the prize keyword and your unique bid amount to 07984 357565.
I work at Corporate Rewards, do I still have to bid via SMS?
No, if you work at CR you can see a member of the P&P team and bring us a folded note with your bid and name, and of course your £2.
How much does a bid cost?
You are charged for each bid you make, plus your unique bid if you are the winner. In this instance we are charging £2.00 per bid. If you then make a unique bid of £0.56 and you are the winner, you will be charged £2.56.
Can I bid more than once in a day?
There is no limit to the number of bids you place either in a day or throughout Awesome Auction week. Just remember you will be charged a bid fee of £2.00 for each bid.
How and when do I pay?
We are a trusting lot and we will be contacting you at the end of the week to pay in cash or by card using Pingit (basically it took too long to get daily payments from everyone and the Pingit app is a bit rubbish!!)
If you work in the CR offices (or are popping in for a cup of tea) you can place your bid and make payment in person directly with the P&P team.
How long does the auction last?
We will be running daily prize auctions from Monday 13th - Friday 17th August and each auction will start at 10am. All bids will need to be submitted by 3pm and payments made by 4pm for the bid to be valid.
There will also be a week long bid special! You could win the product team (AKA Awesome Angels) for an afternoon. Bidding starts on Monday at 10am and finishs on Friday at 3pm. Find out how to bid for Awesome Angels
How many prizes are there to win?
We have one prize per day, plus the bonus Awesome Angels bid so that’s 6 prizes in total.
Can I bid for more than 1 prize throughout Awesome Auction week?
Absolutely, you can bid for every single prize on offer if you wish!
Does every auction have a winner?
Providing we get more than one entry, yes every auction will have a lowest unique bid and all prizes will go each day.
When do I find out if I have won?
If you are are the lucky winner of a bid, you will receive a message via SMS at the end of the auction once all bids have been verified.

How do I get my winning item?
We will be in touch with you to arrange delivery of your prize within 24 hours of notifying you as the winner.
What happens if I don’t win?
You will still need to pay your £2.00 bid for each submission but there are prizes each day so keep trying and you could still win!
